Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery School are looking for a hardworking, dedicated, and creative Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 across Key Stage 1 and 2 and work within the classroom. The successful assistant will be enthusiastic, a good team player, and committed to supporting the learning of pupils.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:
- Have experience of working within a primary school or early years setting
- Can build relationships with and nurture pupils to enable positive educational outcomes
- Experience implementing positive behaviour strategies
- GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English grade C/4 or above
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working
- NVQ2/3 or equivalent or working towards the qualification is desirable
