Alongside teaching, you'll support learners as a personal tutor, helping them achieve their full potential in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Delivering across a range of Applied Science programmes, including BTEC Applied Science, with opportunities to contribute to specialist areas such as Marine Science & Environmental Science.
- Providing pastoral support as a personal tutor, supporting students' academic progress and wellbeing.
- Engaging and inspiring students through high-quality, inclusive, and student-centred delivery.
- Sharing your subject expertise, passion, and any relevant industry insight to bring learning to life.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience - either within teaching or in a science-based industry (e.g. applied, environmental, forensic, or marine sectors).
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, student-centred teaching and learning.
- A relevant degree in a science-related discipline.
- Teaching experience within Further Education is desirable but not essential.
- The ability or willingness to contribute to specialist areas such as marine, and/or environmental science would be highly advantageous.
