We're working with secondary schools across Telford looking for confident and enthusiastic Graduate Cover Supervisors to join them ASAP on a long-term, full-time basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, pastoral support, or SEND. You'll gain hands on classroom experience, build confidence leading groups, and develop valuable skills in behaviour management and communication.
Plus, you'll quickly discover that teenagers can smell uncertainty from approximately three corridors away but don't worry, we'll support you properly.
The role:
- Full time, long term Cover Supervisor opportunities in secondary schools across Telford
- ASAP starts available
- Supervising pre planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged with learning
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Providing additional support where needed throughout the school day
- Gaining valuable classroom experience in supportive school settings
We're looking for someone who:
- Has recently graduated or is completing a degree
- Is confident communicating with young people
- Can lead a classroom with calmness and professionalism
- Is adaptable, resilient, and proactive
- Has experience working with young people through tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work, camps, or similar (not essential)
- Is considering a future career in education or schools
