Contract
Fixed term contract until 31 August 2027, part time (32.5 hours per week). Monday Friday. Working at Bugthorpe CE Primary School.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Year 5 and Year 6 classroom.
- Support pupils to develop confidence before transitioning to secondary school.
- Design and deliver high quality, curriculum aligned lessons.
- Collaborate in subject leadership teams and share planning resources with the sister school.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications & experience
- Years of experience teaching in Years 5 and 6 or equivalent.
- Evidence of effective classroom practice.
- Curriculum strengths, talents, interests and expertise that support a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Commitment to safeguarding; subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
