We're working with supportive secondary schools across Shrewsbury looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join them ASAP on a long-term, full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to build valuable classroom experience. Whether you're considering a future in teaching or already have experience in schools, youth work, coaching, mentoring, or support roles, we'd love to hear from you.

The role
- Full time, long term Cover Supervisor opportunities across secondary schools in Shrewsbury
- ASAP starts available
- Delivering pre planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged with learning
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Providing additional classroom support where required
- Building positive relationships with students and school staff
We're looking for someone who
- Has experience working with children or young people
- Is confident leading groups and communicating clearly
- Can remain calm, professional, and adaptable
- Has strong behaviour management skills or the willingness to develop them
- Is proactive and happy to get involved in school life
- Has a genuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
