Health Visiting Community Nursery Nurse - Supporting Government's Best Start in Life Agenda
Innovative Opportunity Focused on School Readiness in Trafford.
We are seeking motivated and forward thinking practitioners to join our Health Visiting and Family Hub team. The role is neighbourhood based, working across Trafford to promote equitable service delivery and support the Best Start in Life agenda. Core hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective health visiting services to a defined population.
- Undertake delegated clinical duties as laid out by the Registered Health Visitor.
- Carry out delegated tasks in the client's home.
- Liaise with internal and external contacts to drive school readiness and support the Best Start in Life priorities.
- Travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Nursery Nurse qualification or NVQ Level 3.
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, ability to work independently and strong IT literacy.
