Job Title: QTS SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Salford)

Overview
We are looking for a qualified QTS SEN Tutor to join our team in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons to SEN students.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit the individual needs of students, focusing on emotional regulation and diverse learning styles.
- Support students in developing their subject knowledge, boosting study skills, and preparing for exams.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Regularly monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/carers or professionals when required.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English.
- Experience working with SEN students in a one-to-one or small group setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
- Must complete all safeguarding and vetting checks.
Desirable Qualifications
- PGCE in Secondary Education.
- Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
