Summary
The Governing Board at Bacup Nursery School is looking to appoint a very hard working and enthusiastic teaching assistant for our Outstanding Nursery School.

This is a temporary contract from 1 September 2026 to 20 July 2027. Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm.
Position is Grade 4, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only. Salary will be on a pro rata basis.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or above or equivalent.
- Maths GCSE or equivalent.
- English GCSE or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience
Essential Experience:
- Knowledge of the EYFS.
- Understanding of teamwork.
- Ability to plan for progression.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of working with young children in a school setting.
