Summary: CLASS TEACHER - KS2. The Governors are seeking a temporary full time KS2 teacher to join our team beginning 1 September 2026.

The successful candidate will have high aspirations for children and be proactive in facilitating engaging learning experiences. The post is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.
Responsibilities
- Work within a three form entry school, sharing planning and meeting the needs of the year group with the other teachers.
- Support a highly committed and caring staff team.
- Collaborate with the SLT and SENDCo to support children with additional needs.
- Liaise with staff in terms of adapting plans to suit individual needs, providing feedback to staff regarding pupils, and maintaining pupil records.
- Lead extra curricular activities, such as after school clubs.
- Lead a subject across the school if appropriate.
Essential Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree or equivalent
- Recent professional development appropriate to the role
Desirable Qualifications
- Successful completion of induction period (NQT induction/Two year ECT period)
- First Aid qualification
Essential Experience
- Experience of effective teaching within the primary phase and across key stages.
- Recent and relevant experience of teaching the National Curriculum.
