We are working with a well-regarded Secondary Academy in Braintree, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a motivated and dedicated Business Studies ECT to join their successful department. Job Overview
- This academy caters for students aged 11-19.
- Full-time, Monday - Friday, Business Studies ECT role.
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 opportunities available).
- Teach a broad curriculum including enterprise, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
- Receive structured support through a comprehensive ECT induction programme.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback to support development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning.

What we're looking for
- Business Studies graduate with QTS (or working towards QTS).
- A genuine passion for business and education.
- Strong subject knowledge in areas such as finance, marketing, and enterprise.
- A reflective and motivated individual eager to develop their teaching practice.
- Good classroom management skills or the willingness to develop these.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
