A friendly and innovative primary school in Ormskirk is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their team. This full time role offers the opportunity to complete your ECT induction, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, high quality lessons for primary ages children in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well structured classroom environment
- Deliver daily phonics sessions, using the Read Write Inc. programme (training can be provided)
- Prepare pupils for the Year 1 phonics screening check with support from the KS1 Lead
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds (or is on track to achieve) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Is an Early Career Teacher looking to complete their induction
- Has an interest in or some experience of teaching phonics (Read Write Inc. desirable but not essential)
- Is committed to supporting pupils in early reading and phonics development
