A large, well-regarded primary school in Waltham Forest is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, ADHD and speech & language needs.
The school is a multi-site primary with a strong inclusion team, SEN provision and experienced leadership. Staff benefit from regular CPD and clear behaviour systems.
Easily accessible via Overground and local bus routes.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with SEND in the classroom
- Delivering small group interventions
- Supporting behaviour and engagement
- Working alongside SENCO and class teachers
Requirements
- Experience supporting children (SEND, care, youth work or similar)
- Patient, adaptable and proactive
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS required.
