English Teacher (QTS) - SEN Focus
Location: South Manchester
Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
The Education Specialists are proud to be working in partnership with an inclusive and forward thinking secondary setting in South Manchester to recruit a passionate English Teacher (QTS) for a permanent role.
This school is committed to supporting students with additional needs and provides a structured, nurturing environment where every learner is encouraged to succeed. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accessible and engaging English lessons tailored to a diverse cohort of learners.
The Role:
- Deliver creative and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Adapt teaching to support students with SEN including ASD, ADHD, and literacy barriers
- Promote a love of reading, writing, and communication
- Work closely with support staff and SEN specialists
- Monitor progress and contribute to individual learning plans
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS and has experience teaching English
- Has experience supporting or adapting for SEN learners
- Is patient, adaptable, and creative in their teaching approach
- Has strong behaviour management skills
- Is committed to inclusive education
