Stockport (potential for deployment at other sites if required and mutually agreed)
Hours: 35 hours per week (24 hours teaching / 11 hours departmental duties)
Pension contribution: 28.68% (FTE)
The Role
Working as part of our highly experienced GCSE Mathematics team, you will benefit from and contribute to our ongoing commitment to delivering excellence in all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment in your specialist subject. Engaging learners in maths and helping them to overcome barriers which they may have faced in the past is at the heart of what we do at TSCG, making maths relevant, practical and enjoyable with a commitment to securing positive outcomes for all those we teach.
This role will require you to deliver high quality, learner focused education providing a quality learning experience for our students. You will be required to help develop the curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable our students to succeed and thrive in their chosen subject area.

Qualifications and experience
Candidates with recent experience of teaching post 16 GCSE or Secondary GCSE Mathematics would be ideally suited to this role. A Mathematics degree is not essential, however clear evidence of maths subject specialism in related disciplines would be required. This role would be suitable for both Newly Qualified Teachers or experienced practitioners.
