The Role
You'll support learners across Health and Social Care programmes, helping them develop the knowledge and practical understanding needed for careers within the sector.
- Deliver engaging lessons across Health and Social Care courses (Level 1-Level 3)
- Support learners with coursework, assignments, and assessments
- Teach topics linked to health, social care, safeguarding, and professional practice
- Plan and deliver inclusive and effective teaching sessions
- Monitor learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
What We're Looking For
We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds:
Essential:
- Experience within Health and Social Care (industry or teaching)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to engage and support post-16 learners
- Flexible, professional, and reliable approach
Desirable:
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DET)
- Experience within Further Education
- Experience delivering BTEC, CACHE, or vocational Health and Social Care qualifications
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
