Specialist Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Milk education are recruiting for a nurturing, forward thinking school for pupils aged 7-16 with SEMH, ASC, ADHD and a range of learning difficulties. We are seeking Specialist Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, regulate emotions, build confidence and develop essential life skills.
What We're Looking For We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Recent experience working with SEN (SEMH, ASC, ADHD or similar)
- Strong initiative and the ability to adapt to individual needs
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
- A calm, nurturing and resilient approach
- Availability for full time work
Key Responsibilities - Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, communication and engagement
- Assisting with personalised learning activities
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff
- Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging independence, confidence and social development
