We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Dunstable seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join their thriving department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to inspire students through engaging and creative lessons while developing literacy, analytical thinking, and confidence across KS3-KS4.
Role Overview:
- Teach English across KS3-KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
- Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Passionate about high-quality teaching and student achievement
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
