Secondary School Teaching Assistant Telford ASAP Start Long-Term Full Time

We're working with supportive secondary schools across Telford looking for confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join them ASAP on a long-term, full-time basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a real impact both inside and outside the classroom. Whether you've worked in schools before or you're bringing transferable experience from coaching, youth work, mentoring, care, or support roles, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll play a huge part in helping students stay engaged, build confidence, and feel supported throughout their school day.
The role:
- Full-time, long term Teaching Assistant positions in secondary schools across Telford
- ASAP starts available
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Providing classroom support alongside teaching staff
- Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support where needed
- Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
- Helping to create positive and inclusive learning environments
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people
- Is calm, adaptable, and approachable
- Can build positive relationships and communicate confidently with students
- Is proactive and happy to get involved in school life
- Has a genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
- Works well as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
