We are excited to be working with a welcoming and supportive 2 form entry primary school in Manningtree that is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team from September.
This role is initially long term, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right fit. The school is keen to find someone who wants to become part of a friendly, collaborative team and play a key role during this important stage of pupils' learning.
About the Role
- Teaching a Year 6 class within a supportive 2 form entry setting
- Planning and delivering engaging, well structured lessons
- Supporting pupils academically and emotionally during their transition to secondary school
- Working closely with year group colleagues and leadership
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
The School Is Looking For Someone Who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable)
- Is nurturing, organised, and confident supporting pupils through SATs and transition
- Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to school life
- Is open to a long term role with the potential to go permanent
