SEN Tutor - Swadlincote (DE11) Full-Time Monday to Friday School Hours In-Person Role
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutors to support pupils in the Swadlincote (DE11) area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with children and young people who require additional support outside of mainstream education. Many pupils may have SEN needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, or may be disengaged from education.
The Role:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions in person within the Swadlincote area.
- Monday to Friday during school hours.
- Support students with academic learning and emotional confidence.
- Plan engaging sessions suited to individual learning needs and abilities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and professionals.
Subjects Required:
- English
- Maths
- Science
- Functional Skills
- Primary tuition
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEMH needs.
- Teaching qualification, tutoring experience, or relevant educational background preferred.
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
