Overview
The Governors of St John Fisher Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the school and work as part of a class team providing support to pupils in Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities & Key Tasks
- Assist classroom management and lesson delivery in accordance with class plans and targets.
- Provide individual and group support to pupils in their learning and development.
- Work closely with Class Teachers, following plans, targets and the school's needs.
- Contribute to a caring and positive learning environment for all pupils.
Qualifications & Attributes
- TN: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and showing initiative.
- Committed, patient and demonstrating strong initiative.
- Flexible, reliable, a consistent team player, and able to work independently.
- Experience and understanding of SEND and sensory needs.
