GSL is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher of Design & Technology (Food Technology) to join a thriving school in Sheffield to begin ASAP. This is a full-time position for the rest of the summer term with the potential of extension into the new academic year for the right candidate, offering the opportunity to teach across key stages 3 and 4.

Teacher of Design & Technology (Food Technology) - Secondary - Education and Training
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £150- £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Design & Technology, with a focus on Food Technology
- Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress in line with school policies
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEN
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
- Take on a pastoral role as a form tutor, supporting student wellbeing and development
- Engage in extracurricular activities and wider school life
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
- Ability to plan and deliver high quality, inclusive lessons
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
