The Crestwood School is recruiting an Assistant Headteacher to begin in September 2026. The school is part of a Multi Academy Trust with six secondary schools and one primary school, employing over 700 staff and serving more than 5,000 students in Dudley, West Midlands.
As Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour & Attendance you will develop and implement strategies to improve attendance and behaviour, support staff, and lead improvement initiatives. You will be a core member of the Senior Leadership Team and work closely with other trust senior leaders and schools.

- Maintain excellent safeguarding procedures.
Eligibility and Safeguarding
All candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check with the Children's Barred List, identity checks, online checks, and verification of professional qualifications and references. The role is regulated and subject to the DfE's "Check a Teacher's Record" if applicable.

Superseded staff must be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Certain convictions or cautions are considered 'protected'). Guidance is available from the Ministry of Justice.
Applicants must be able to pass DBS Filtering Guidance.
