Overview
Tormead School is an academically selective independent school for 800 girls aged 4-18, located a short stroll from the historic town centre of Guildford, just 40 minutes by train to London. Students attain excellent examination results with 90% attaining grade A -B at A Level and 90% attaining a grade 7-9 at GCSE in 2025.
Responsibilities
Teach Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level Mathematics. Further Maths is offered as a fourth A Level option.
Qualifications
Well qualified, creative, and passionate Maths Teacher with a genuine passion for Maths and a commitment to collaborative, reflective practice. Confidence in the classroom, inspiration for high standards, and a firm grasp of curricular developments. Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to participate actively in co curricular activities and enrichment opportunities. Early Careers Teachers are welcomed; extensive experience also valued. Advanced Further Maths skills will be considered favourably.
