Monday - Friday 08:20-16:00 (35.83 hours per week, term time only plus teacher training days, 39 weeks).
We are seeking to appoint a warm, enthusiastic and well organised Early Years Educator to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) nursery from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who truly loves working with young children, values meaningful interactions and brings energy, creativity and care to everything they do.
Responsibilities
This role will involve working collaboratively with responsible classroom teacher(s) as a Teaching Assistant, utilising detailed knowledge and specialist skills to undertake specified work and provide care and supervision to pupils. The successful candidate will be expected to create rich, hands on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and enjoyment.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Childcare or a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification that meets the requirements of the Government's Early Years qualification checker.
- Passion for enabling children to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Ability to inspire, enthuse and set high expectations for all.
- Strong commitment to working in partnership with parents, colleagues and the community.
- Team player with a good sense of humour and a positive attitude.
- Working knowledge of the EYFS Framework and the national curriculum, with a willingness to develop this knowledge further.
- Strong motivation to teach and learn, to make a difference to the lives of young people.
Theseposts are exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to these posts will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
