This vacancy has arisen due to the expansion of the school's sports programme and increased participation in both curricular and extracurricular activities, offering an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant academic community and promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and sporting excellence.
About the Role
As a Teacher of PE, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience
- Teach a broad range of activities, including team sports, individual disciplines, fitness, and outdoor education
- Encourage students to develop physical confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular sports programme, fixtures, and enrichment activities
- Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
About You
- Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or have relevant subject expertise
- Have a strong passion for PE, sport, and student wellbeing
- Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
- Enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting students beyond the classroom
