SEND Learning Support Assistant - Bridgwater - Start Date: September 2026 - Salary: £14.26-£18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting children with ASD, sensory needs and challenging behaviours.
- Use consistent and tailored strategies to support engagement and progress.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly ASD and complex needs.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
- Patient, calm and child centred approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships and engage pupils effectively.
- Experience supporting communication and independence skills.
- Proactive and adaptable attitude.
