Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Ysgol Bro Pedr
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant within our dedicated ALN team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. This role entails supporting a year 6 pupil to transition effectively to Life skills in year 7 from September 2026.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide support to the individual pupil and small groups
- The experience or enthusiasm to upskill to be able to deliver interventions
- Work under the direction of the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences
- Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment as appropriate to the role
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school's values and ethos
- Support the welfare, safety, and inclusion of all learners
- Someone with teaching assistance experience
- Excellent communication skills in a school setting
- A positive, flexible, and team-focused approach
- Willingness to undertake professional training
