About the role
Full time Graduate Learning Support Assistant - start ASAP. This role involves supporting pupils who require one to one help with their learning. Some pupils have special educational needs, such as autism, ADHD or challenging behaviour. You'll work closely with individual students in the classroom, helping them stay engaged, encouraging confidence, and providing calm, consistent support throughout the day. No prior school experience is required; voluntary or professional experience with additional needs is welcome.

These roles start ASAP and run full time during term time, with the opportunity to become permanent after an initial settling in period.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised support to pupils with additional needs in classroom settings.
- Help students remain engaged, build confidence and exhibit calm, consistent support throughout the day.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement learning plans.
- Record observations and progress of pupils as required.
- Adhere to safeguarding and welfare procedures and report any concerns.
Qualifications and Skills
- Recent graduate or recent completion of an education/psychology related course.
- Empathetic, reliable and genuinely enthusiastic about supporting vulnerable young people.
- Previous voluntary or professional experience with additional needs is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
