The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people. Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Key Responsibilities
The school is looking to take on a permanent Science Teacher from September on a full-time basis. The successful Science Teacher will be working directly with students in Key Stage / KS2 - Key Stage 4 / KS4 , whose ages range from 7 - 16yrs. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder / ADHD.
Qualifications
- QTS with Science specialism
- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, ADHD, SEMH
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
