An Ofsted-rated 'Good' SEN School in Redditch is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team on a full-time basis. Candidates with experience across Early Years to Year 8 are encouraged to apply.

About the Role
- Full-Time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
- Potential for a permanent contract following successful placement
- Work across Key Stages 1 to 4, providing both 1:1 and small group support
- Support teachers with planning, lesson delivery, classroom management, and behaviour support
- Assist with classroom organisation and learning displays
- Monitor pupil progress and support their personal development
- Contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning space
Each class typically has around 10 pupils, supported by 1 Teacher and 2 Learning Support Assistants, with strong backing from an excellent leadership team.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in schools or care/child-related settings
- Confident supporting needs such as Autism, ADHD, Down's Syndrome, PMLD, SEMH
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies
- Resilience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through GSL Education
- Able to commit to full-time, term-time hours (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
