The Role
The successful Teacher of Business Studies and Economics will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS4 and KS5
- Teaching GCSE Business Studies and A Level Economics
- Assessing progress and supporting students to achieve strong outcomes
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom practice
- Working collaboratively within the department and wider school team
This role is suitable for experienced teachers or ECTs, with support available throughout the placement.
Requirements
- QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
- Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
- A commitment to raising achievement and supporting pupil progress
- Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid DBS (or willingness to apply)
