Quantum Scholars are working closely with a high-achieving and "Outstanding" rated secondary school in Hertfordshire to recruit a passionate Science Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis starting September 2026.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has a strong passion for Science and teaching
Demonstrates a genuine regard and respect for young people
Is committed to ongoing professional development
Brings enthusiasm and energy to the classroom

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in a Science-related subject
Strong subject knowledge across Science (specialism welcome)
Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
Excellent classroom management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
MUST have the right to work in the UK - sponsorship is NOT available

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons
Assess, monitor and report on student progress
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
