Role Description
The Trainer Assessor Plumbing role is a full-time, on-site position located in Broxbourne. The role involves delivering high-quality training and assessment to students pursuing qualifications in plumbing. Responsibilities include preparing training materials, delivering lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations. The Trainer Assessor will work closely with students to help them gain the skills and qualifications necessary to succeed in the industry.
Qualifications
Technical skills in Plumbing, including a solid understanding of plumbing systems, installation practices, and safety standards.Teaching and Assessment skills, including experience delivering training sessions, creating lesson plans, assessing learners' skills, and providing feedback.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds and to foster a positive learning environment.Certifications such as a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed) and an assessor qualification (e.g., A1 or equivalent) are required.Relevant industry experience in the plumbing sector is essential, and knowledge of current industry standards and regulations is expected.Basic IT skills, including the use of standard office software for preparing training and assessment materials.Experience in vocational education and training or apprenticeship programs is an advantage.
