Salary: £25 - £30 per hour
We are looking for a proactive Functional Skills Maths Lecturer on a long‑term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful candidate will deliver Functional Skills Maths to post‑16 learners, working with a range of abilities and using engaging teaching methods to drive achievement and build confidence.
Qualifications and Experience
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths in an FE or similar setting
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to motivate and engage learners effectively
- A flexible and proactive approach
