Lady Barn House School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including an online search in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education, checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to asses their suitability to work with children.
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application. Candidates will be required to provide appropriate documentation as evidence of their right to work during the recruitment process, in line with UK Visas and Immigration requirements. Unfortunately, the school is unable to sponsor visa applications.
Lady Barn House School is a friendly, forward-thinking independent preparatory school where children thrive, both academically and personally. We are dedicated to fostering young minds in a positive and supportive environment, and we’re looking for individuals who share our passion for creating memorable experiences for our pupils.
