The University of Lincoln’s School of Health and Care Sciences is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography to join our growing Allied Health Professions portfolio.
The School is home to a vibrant and interdisciplinary academic community delivering programmes across a range of health and social care professions, including nursing, social work, paramedic science, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy. Our programmes are closely aligned with workforce priorities and developed in partnership with regional health and care providers.
The BSc Diagnostic Radiography programme is a relatively new and developing programme within the School and has recruited strongly since its launch. The programme benefits from close collaboration with clinical partners and offers students high-quality practice-based learning alongside research-informed academic teaching.
The Role
Role
As Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography, you will contribute to the delivery, assessment and ongoing development of the BSc Diagnostic Radiography programme. The role includes:
Teaching and assessment across modules within the Diagnostic Radiography curriculumSupporting students through academic tutoring and supervisionContributing to curriculum development and enhancementWorking with clinical partners to support high-quality practice placement learningContributing to interprofessional learning across the School’s Allied Health Professions programmes
You will join a supportive and collaborative academic team committed to delivering high-quality education and preparing graduates for contemporary professional practice.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic radiography professional with a passion for education and workforce development.
You will be a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer with current or eligible registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience of teaching in higher education or supporting student learning in practice is desirable, and applicants should demonstrate a commitment to developing their academic practice and contributing to a scholarly teaching environment.
