The role
As a Learning & Development Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Learning & Development function, helping to coordinate training activity across the business and ensure accurate and up to date training records.
Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager and wider HR team, you will support the smooth running of training courses, induction programmes, and ongoing learning activity.
This role is well suited to someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys working in a busy, detail-focused environment and is looking to develop their career within Learning & Development. The key responsibilities of the role may include:
Booking and coordinating training courses, including sending invitations and joining instructionsMaintaining accurate training records and keeping systems up to dateSupporting training requests from managers and employeesEnrolling new starters onto induction and mandatory trainingMonitoring training completion and renewal dates, escalating overdue training where requiredProducing routine training reports using existing templates and dataSupporting the maintenance of e-learning contentAssisting with tracking apprenticeships and qualificationsProviding general administrative support to the L&D team and responding to queries
What we are looking for
Experience in an administrative role requiring strong organisation, accuracy, and attention to detailAbility to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environmentStrong administrative skills with a methodical and structured approach to workHigh level of accuracy in maintaining records and handling dataGood communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work confidently with colleagues at all levelsCompetent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordPositive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and support new ways of workingAbility to work well as part of a team and contribute to a supportive working environmentInterest in Learning & DevelopmentOwn transport preferred, although we are happy to consider candidates who are currently learning to drive
