Reed FE are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Child Care to join a great team in East London. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in teaching T Level Childcare, looking to make a significant impact in the educational sector.
Lecturer in Child Care
- Hourly Rate: Up to £35 per hour + admin
- Location: East London
- Job Type: Temporary (until July 2026)
- Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Day-to-day of the role of a Childcare Lecturer
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in T Level Childcare.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and educational offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Childcare lecturer role :
- Must hold a Full Teaching Qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching T Level Childcare.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
