Bank Lecturer – Fabrication & Welding x 2 Posts Fixed Term until 30th June 2027 Bank Hours
Salary: £41,838- £50,359 per annum, pro rata (Candidates holding TQFE will commence at £48,227 per annum, pro rata)
City of Glasgow College are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to work within the Faculty of Nautical and STEM. Applicants must have an HNC/HND in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or related Engineering Discipline, in addition to experience of working within a practical engineering/manufacturing environment.
Candidates would be expected to teach students Welding and other practical engineering subjects up to SVQ3.
You must be self-motivated and reliant and have a desire to teach. You should possess effective interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate learning to individuals with a variety of learning styles.

Candidates would be expected to teach students engineering science subjects and practical engineering skills including:
Candidates must be passionate about supporting and motivating our students and have relevant commercial/industrial experience. You must be able to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team. Experience of teaching is desirable, but not essential.
