At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About The Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive individual to support the Learning Support team and help ensure the effective delivery of services for students, including those with EHCPs.
Based at Writtle College, you will provide administrative support by organising, scheduling, and preparing documentation for EHCP Annual Reviews. You will act as a key point of contact for student and staff enquiries, handling calls, responding to queries, signposting as appropriate, and arranging meetings. You will also support the Learning Support Team Leader and wider team with general administration, maintain accurate and confidential student records, and help develop and maintain effective administrative systems.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, have strong communication skills, and be able to handle sensitive information with discretion. A proactive and flexible approach, along with good administrative and IT skills, is essential. It is also essential that the role holder has a range of GCSEs at grades A–C or equivalent, or a vocational qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
