The Role
As an Academy Skills Coach you will be required to deliver outstanding training, learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire apprentices to fulfil their potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully progress through the business, from the Classroom to Boardroom.
The Academy Skills Coach is responsible for working with learners, delivering all aspects of the apprenticeship and other related qualifications to ensure successful achievement, whilst providing exceptional support and guidance.
Your main responsibilities as an Academy Skills Coach will involve:
- Delivering training and assessing learning in line with standards and qualification frameworks
- Providing excellent support to both learners and line managers
- Ensuring learners and line managers are engaged and stay motivated
- Ensuring reviews are timely, robust and developmental
- Ensuring learner’s Off the Job time is maintained
- Continuous improvement of training and assessment strategies
- Providing and monitoring the effective safeguarding, well-being and support arrangements for learners
- Supporting the Academy Team where required at events etc

Essential:
Assessor or teaching qualification
Catering / Hospitality industry qualification
Effective time management skills
Good IT skills
Driver and able to travel
Desirable:
Skilled culinary / food industry professional
Knowledge of the apprenticeship sector
