Job Title: GCSE Maths Lecturer

Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic GCSE Maths Lecturer for Further Education College in Manchester,.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging GCSE Mathematics lessons to students aged 16-19 and adult learners, supporting them in developing confidence and achieving their qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate maths educator to make a positive impact in a supportive college environment.
This is a full time temporary role to start asap until 1st April, hours are as folllows:
- Monday 9-4.30
- Tuesday 9-4.30
- Wednesday 9-4.30
- Thursday 9-4.30
- Friday 9-2.30
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality GCSE Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Support learners of varying abilities to achieve their academic potential
- Prepare learning materials and assessments that promote student engagement and progress
- Monitor and track student performance, providing feedback and targeted support where needed
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- A relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
- Experience teaching GCSE Mathematics in a school or Further Education setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for supporting learners and improving outcomes in mathematics
