Job Vacancy: NVQ Level 2 Construction Assessor

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NVQ Level 2 Construction Assessor to support learners in achieving their vocational qualifications. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between site-based experience and formal accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
• Learner Support: Guide learners through their specific learning outcomes and ensure they stay on track for completion.
• Portfolio Management: Provide expert feedback and guidance on building a robust portfolio of evidence.
• Evidence Collection: Observe, collect, and process on-site assessment evidence in line with awarding body standards.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with the Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to maintain high assessment standards.
• Progress Tracking: Manage and report on learner progress and achievement milestones.
Required Trade Expertise
Candidates must have demonstrable assessment experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Insulation & Building Work
• Painting & Decorating
• Wood Occupations / Carpentry
• Plant Operations
Qualifications & Requirements
• Assessor Award: Must hold a recognized Assessor qualification (e.g., A1, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent).
• Trade Competence: NVQ Level 2 or above in a relevant trade, or significant evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in that field.
• Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Mobility: Ability to travel to various construction sites for on-site assessments.
Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: £20.00-£22.00 per hour
