Job overview
This is an opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust Library Service at the Royal Derby Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer service orientated individual to join our team, to provide a range of library services to NHS staff and students.
Advert
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out administrative tasks, dealing with document requests, handling general enquiries, lending books, inputting data into electronic systems, and ensuring the smooth running of the Library Service at the Royal Derby Hospital with occasional cross-site working at our Queens Hospital Burton site.
An ability to work both in a team and alone is essential, along with the ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential to this role.
The post holder must have a flexible approach to working across all Trust sites and be able to deal with changing circumstances and last minute alterations to the working routine.
