Job Title : Fitness Instructor - Various posts

We have a great opportunity available for a qualified exercise professional. You will need at least a Level 2 health & fitness qualification and experience in the fitness industry.

Halo centres are all vital community assets which are well used and supported by the local population. You will deal with a wide variety of customers, supporting them to get the best out of their visit to the gym.

Salary: - £12.21 per hour

Duties and responsibilities

To instruct new gym members and provide inductions.
To compile personal fitness programmes for gym members when required.
To assist with health promotions.
To carry out regular maintenance and equipment checks.
Run a safe and clean activity, taking care of the resources which are needed to deliver the services on offer
Pitch in as needed to help your centre, your manager, your colleagues
Promote our values and expectations
Plan your activities and deliver a great session to individuals and groups
Support your colleagues
Commit to your own development
Take part in company training programmes
Provide feedback so we can continually improve
Respect the privacy rights of customers and colleagues
Take responsibility for your performance

Skills qualities and experience

Experience in the fitness industry.
Health and Fitness related qualification. Must include a basic understanding of Anatomy and Physiology.
Health and Safety.
Good oral communication and interaction skills
Flexible approach to working hours including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
