Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Key Purpose - To work with the Head of Apprenticeships / Apprenticeship Team Leader – Electrical and Electrical Lecturing team to deliver a high-quality apprenticeship programme including supporting classroom theory/workshop practical teaching sessions. Primarily supporting on site (employer-based) assessments and completing 12-week apprentice reviews for a caseload of apprentices, which meets Bath College quality expectations. Ensures apprentices have the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to meet the needs of the industry, Skills England and End-Point Assessment criteria to a pass, merit, or distinction standard.
Manage, review, assess and support the training of a caseload of apprentices who are based in the college and workplace, currently undertaking an apprenticeship. To ensure that the success/achievement rates of apprentices are at or above the level set by the College.

Key Responsibilities
- To provide induction, assessment, training, coaching and assessment to apprentices who are undertaking Apprenticeship Programmes and supporting qualification(s)
- Train, assess, support, advise and assist apprentices during their training both at college and in the workplace.
- Deal with queries when supervising apprentices.
- Participate in the promotional and marketing aspects of the college.
- Undertake initial assessment of apprentices and assist in the apprentice action planning.

- Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade B or above
- A nationally recognised qualification, at least to level 3, or equivalent, in an Electrical discipline.
- 18th Edition, 2nd Amendment qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle
