The Opportunity
An established further education college in Berkshire is seeking an experienced Technical Skills Coach in Plumbing to support apprenticeship training and EPA (End Point Assessment). This role is ideal for a qualified plumbing practitioner with assessor experience who enjoys working with apprentices and supporting skills development. Your primary responsibility will be assessing and coaching plumbing apprentices through practical skills assessments and ensuring they meet the standards required for completion.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting practical and theoretical assessments in plumbing.
- Providing constructive feedback and coaching to apprentices.
- Supporting learners through EPA preparation and successful completion.
- Collaborating with curriculum teams to uphold assessment quality and compliance.
- Contributing to a supportive learning environment where learners can thrive.
About You
- Recognised assessor qualification.
- Level 3 (or above) in Plumbing.
- Experience assessing apprentices through EPA preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for vocational education.
- DBS clearance up to date (or willingness to update promptly).
