An opportunity has arisen within the Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work to join a dynamic team delivering social work education. This post is offered on the basis of a Teaching and Research contract (0.3 FTE) and is offered on a fixed term basis.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative individual to our dynamic and highly respected team to contribute to the delivery of teaching and research (as appropriate given the hours contracted) within our MA Social Work programme within the Division.
Our programme engenders a student-centred approach of participation and partnership and we are committed to promoting an ethos of lifelong learning. We use innovative teaching methods including online learning, peer-assisted study and simulation. Our approach is dynamic and we proactively respond to the needs of students.
Our courses are contemporary and have a robust evidence-informed foundation both in their design and content. We are seeking to appoint an individual who is research -informed and keen to contribute to furthering the research priorities in the Social Work Directorate.
We are seeking a candidate who is committed to working in partnership with our students and enhancing the student experience. We are seeking an effective communicator who is also able to work with external partners to support a high quality learning environment, particularly in relation to practice placements.
