Sir William Stanier School is seeking to appoint a talented, innovative, and ambitious Assistant Curriculum Leader of English. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a newly formed English team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the subject within our school. The start date for this position is negotiable.
We are looking for an exceptional teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English. The successful candidate will be committed to raising achievement, raising aspirations, and driving continuous improvement in teaching and learning across the department.
You will support the Curriculum Leader in delivering a curriculum that nurtures the potential of every student and helps them become confident, independent young people. Our English teachers work collaboratively to create stimulating, motivating and inspiring lessons that champion active and engaging learning experiences.
The English Department is dedicated to fostering a positive culture of learning where all students feel supported and challenged. Through high expectations and a focus on personal development, we aim to build students’ self-confidence and empower them to take pride in their progress.
